Religion and the Global Fertility Transition
Do some religions have a higher birth rate than others — and how does this affect global population growth? Have we reached peak child? And if so, why does this NOT mean that world population growth will stop?
I've said for decades that if a religion requires a high birth rate to survive, their theology is suspect. Over the years, I find that statement to be more and more true.
