Another dog story at the pet store. This dog was struck by a car in Peru, and left untreated by poor villagers despite having just whelped a litter. The mother crawled to the dump for food, and got some handouts, before being adopted by Peruvian immigrants who took it to the US with them. The dog was very calm and friendly, and she and the elderly Peruvian woman who now own him were deeply bonded. The dog seemed happy enough and got around well in this rig.
