The Memory in a Pair of Boots
Vincent Van Gogh understood that an old pair of boots not only tells stories but carries memories.
Van Gogh painted his first pair of boots and shoes in 1886, and did three more pictures of the same in 1887.
Heard a segment on the radio today saying that Vincent van Gogh is so popular that it's difficult to get enough of his work for exhibition. Looking at these boots I see why. There's a human story in them boots.
