Spott, a Jack Russell, survived a 120-foot plunge over a cliff while chasing a rabbit along the Jurassic Coast near Swanage, Dorset, England. The dog landed in the sea. andswam back to the thin strip of shore at the base of the chalk cliff from where it was rescued by folks from the local branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
No word yet on the mental range of the owner who allowed his dog to run off-leash at the top of this cliff!

Was the on scene owner a juvenile? I can see a kid doing this but certainly not an adult. The rescue organization should charge the owner for their time and use of equipment.
Well, he's alive and probably didn't learn much except he needs to follow the rabbit a bit closer.
