Information on working terriers, dogs, natural history, hunting, and the environment, with occasional political commentary as I see fit. This web log is associated with the Terrierman.com web site.
This is great! And far more fun (and healthier) for the dogs, who get to run flat out rather than w.a.l.k.i.n.g or even jogging with a human who could never keep up with real dog speed.
I use a large ball from Walmart for my terriers, they will chase it until exhausted if I let them. My male figured out how to pin it down to get leverage on it and pop it, so now I'm using a similar size exercise ball, it's a lot tougher. Here is a video, you can see at the end they know where the invisible fence is!

The sound track got my dog pretty excited.
