First U.K. Game Fair, 1958


First UK game fair, 1958. The retriever is a bit... slow. And there were only 25 people in the country actually flying hawks and falcons? Clearly, things had fallen down. They are doing quite a bit better now, I think!

The man lure flying the falcon is Phillip Glasier, Jemima Parry-Jones father. She now runs the www.icbp.org. I don't know who the woman with the merlin is.

I sent the link to Jemimia Parry-Jones, the director of the International Center for Birds of Prey in England. www.icbp.org She said that it is her father lure flying the falcon ,the woman with the merlin is Joan Woodward.

I emailed the link to Jemima Parry-Jones. She told me that the man is her father, Phillip Glasier, the woman with the merlin falcon is Joan Woodward. Jemima is the director of the www.icbp.org, First founded by her father decades ago.
