Protecting the Animals?

Al Madrigal lauds the American agriculture industry for "protecting" animals from those people trying to "protect" the animals.

What's always amazed me about the American legal system, media, and Congress is the theory that two liars can debate and somehow truth will be the product of that union.

It's like mating a Mountain Lion to a Leopard and expecting the progeny to be a Penguin!

That said, the laws designed to prevent the stealth filming of cruel farming practices are little more than naked attempts by those breaking the laws to prevent themselves from being caught.  Don't do things you do not want to be seen!

That said, the business of raising animals for food is a business in which things are killed for the table, and no apologies need to be made for that.  Mother Nature is not a vegan!
