Which? magazine in the U.K. has put a pug with its tongue stuck out on the cover of their Money edition.
A pug? With its tongue stuck out? What does that have to do with money?
I have no idea, unless the reference is to the "small is beautiful" text on the side. I am not sure how a pug with its tongue stuck out qualifies as beautiful, but each to his own on the beauty score.
Pugs, of course, are a dog that does not hunt (insert investment idea here) and which tends to have serious congenital medical issues, at least one of which is that its head is often too small for its tongue or its teeth (insert investment idea here).
I am not sure what message they wanted to send with this cover, but I'm pretty sure it was not either of those!

And then there is that Levis ad sometime ago with the beautiful couple carrying a grossly overweight English bulldog ..what were the ad folks thinking here..ad folks are great at thinking but usually don't think great..

Some pugs were able to hunt, Eberhard Trumler described in one of his books that 2 lost pugs were found after some weeks and they survive by eating mice!
But those books were written in the 70s ;-)
