Newt Gingrich is an ego-besotted hot-air balloon full of toxic gas, and to underscore that point he has decided to resort to the very ugly tactic of showing clips of his political opposition, Willard Mittens Romney, talking to press, public and politicians.
Is a mirror cruel? Of course.
Ugly? To be sure.
Mean spirited? To the core.
I mean, my God, Gingrich even brings up the fact that candidate Willard Mittens Romney strapped his terrified, shit-caked dog to the roof of his car and drove it to Canada!
Now the dogs themselves are getting into the act (how catty!), going so far as to create a Facebook page entitled "Dogs Against Romney."
I think this is a bit much.
I mean sure, Romney strapped his own dog to the roof of a car and drove him to Canada, only stopping every once in a while to wash the diarrhea and terror out of the crate, but it's not like the dog lost his job because Romney's company, Bain Capital, bankrupted it, boned out its divisions, and sold the equipment and jobs off to the Chinese!
And it's not like Romney worked to squirrel away millions of dollars offshore in the Cayman Islands to avoid paying taxes, is it? He didn't do that did he? Who says so? Not him! Only ABC News.
But NO, you cannot look at candidate Romney's tax records. People who make
Of course, you have rights too, including the right to watch this documentary produced by people who used to work for Mitt Romney and being shown by Republicans as a warning to others in their own party not to buy this pig in a poke.
This is the story Willard Mittens Romney does not want you to see.
This is not only how Mr. Romney made his fortune -- it also speaks to the values he has.
Are these your values? Are these America's values?

Newt's going after Romney like he was a Democrat getting a blowjob from not-his-wife. Makes me wonder if at one point in time Romney made Newt get off the back of the plane or something.
Sure, Romney's an authoritarian asshole with extra cheese, but does he deserve a vicious attack like Newt's doling out? Probably, and I'm enjoying the sideshow. :)
I totally agree with Curt! Let's watch them fight it out like metaphorical dogs in a cage.
(I'd never heard of the dog strapped to the roof and that is just horrible. More so than the other things because those are just normal for political blowhards.)
Pat, I think I love you. Thank you for calling it like it is time and time again!!

All these years later he's STILL insisting that poor old Seamus LOVED riding on top of the family car for HALF A DAY AT A TIME. What kind of dog crates were even available circa 1968? Probably nothing nearly as nice as our 2012 mind's-eye would conjure up. The irony is, even as Newt does his work, it just might be dead ol' Seamus that kills the Romney candidacy. Stuff THAT in your off-shore account, asshole.
Seahorse
Why don't all the Dems register as Repubs and vote Huntsman as the nominee. Then in the general we at least get to pick from two reasonably moderate politicians and don't stand the chance of getting Mitt, the empty shell with an elitist upbringing, training and ruthless self serving history, or the pancake Newt who has been flipped and re-heated too many times. The only thing I believe about Santorum is that he says he smoked pot in college and wants the govt out of everyones business except a women's uterus. Ron Paul, some interesting radical ideas but a bit out of touch with reality. At this point in time while we are so fragile, we need someone with gonads to make firm, forward, unpopular decisions to loosen up the money. If wall street and the richest don't want to pay their fair share supporting the country, thats unAmerican, unpatriotoc and treasonous, especially when they deposit the cash in foreign banks and hide it in loopholes. All those best and brightest young soldiers dying and getting blown apart to protect America but the fat cats can't cut loose with a few bones to get this country back on track? Like their money is more sacred than the lives of our service men/women? If they pay a fair share they'll still live a lifestyle of the rich and famous and within less than a decade we can stabilize the economy, stimulate growth, reform the tax code, restructure entitlements, especially for Congress, the gorging gluttenous swine with both front feet in the feed trough. The parasites get a toe hold and never let go, just drain the hard working public for their unconscienable lifetime of high end perks and rolls royce health care plans that WE pay for but can't get ourselves. If we get with it and upgrade the country's infrastructure we can put people back to work 'cause lets face it. All these bridges and hiways and the grid system are old and outdated. There's plenty of money under the asses of big business and wall street - they are sitting on it to weaken the country so they strengthen their rule. They need to be knocked off their thrones and invest in America instead hoarding and withholding the cash to drive the middle class down, down ,down till they will do anything the lords tell the serfs who live in squalor and desperation with no chance of changing their quality of life. And why do the tea partyers back wall street when so many of them are getting getting screwed like the rest of us? It's been the same old story since the beginning of time. Its borne out by history that the rich and powerful know all the trickery, strategies and tactics. America is no different than any other falling empire. They eventually take down the 99% and rule the world for a minute before it collapses.
