I like that pic ... I have it in my PowerPoint for introducing Faulkner in the American Lit survey I teach. (And when we do Hemingway, there's a pic of his cat walking on the table while he's eating.) Very humanizing to see pics of writers with their pets.
The one doing the yoga pose looks like our rescue toy fox terrier. Same ears, nose, colors, facial markings, long legs. Our dog does that same stretching several times a day. I read that he had jack russell terriers and the one in the foreground looks like one but the other looks like a toy fox terrier to me.

Do you know anything about the dogs in the pic? Names, why he liked them. Did he use them for hunting?
