Dogs cannot digest soy. Canine digestion lacks an amino acid necessary to digest soybeans. Because tofu and soybean oil are already processed, they can be tolerated by many dogs. However many low-end pet foods contain soybeans, which can trigger bloat, an often fatal digestive reaction.
And I bet its nice and expensive too.

I haven't yet been able to bring myself to watch the advertisements for the other breed-specific food formulae.
Here's a question for them: what to feed mixed-breeds, especially the Heinz-57s? Do you pick a predominant breed, or just mix all the small-breed or large-breed types together in hopes that any breed in the mix might get its optimal nutrition?
