Lizards from Hell

Lizards from Hell was the title article and cover art for the February 1957 issue of True Men Stories. Somehow I suspect there was not much truth in this story! Of course, there was enough truth in the other key article to make up for it (see cover art).

In current news, non-native Iguana's are falling out of the trees (if not the sky) in Florida, thanks to the recent cold snap.

Also, a warning has gone out to be on the lookout for non-native pythons trying to slither into houses in order to stay warm. Trying to turn a sow's ear into a purse a snake skin into a Gucci handbag, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has put out a press release urging bounty-seeking Python hunters to use the cold to find pythons for extermination. The press release notes that the animals are likely to be forced by the cold to come out of their hiding places to find sunny spots along roads and levees.
