Spread the word!
Since the broadcast of this documentary in the U.K. last August, the British and Australian Kennel Clubs have announced a wholesale review of every pedigree dog breed.
Now comes word from the CBC that Canadian Kennel Club is also undertaking it's own review.
Progress! And more to come, I will wager.

Patrick, I wish Pedigree Dogs Exposed had been screened on Australian tv but sadly I don't believe it to be the case.
It may not have run, but it has rocked the world there nonetheless. See >> http://www.theage.com.au/national/its-a-dogs-life-being-so-pure-20081121-6e5a.html?page=-1 where they note:
"In Britain, in August, a Panorama documentary, Pedigree Dogs Exposed, caused a furore over its main claim: that the august and ancient British Kennel Club was encouraging the breeding of unhealthy dogs.... The upheaval is expected to flow on to Australia. The Australian National Kennel Council (which is affiliated with the British club) registers 192 breeds, all with official standards that represent the breeders' ideal dogs.... In October the ANKC announced that Australian standards would be reviewed to reflect a new policy prioritising the health and welfare of all dogs."
