Oh dear.
To be fair, she has a promo team that does most of her twitter/blog stuff. I know the person who bred her Frenchies, and the people who co own a dog with her, and they are all adamant that she's a great owner, and very involved with her dogs.
That said, it was still really unfortunate timing, wasn't it?
Martha doesn't even "tweet" her own little toss away lines on her blog?
Great.
And people go to her blog to be "closer to Martha"?
Ha! This is a comedy, right?
Patrick

Not most of them, apparently. And as for blog posts? hah!
What's the point of having all those assistants, if you have to sit there dealing with web stuff?
That's for mere wage peons, like us...
"Closer to Martha" is not a concept I give a rat's arse about. I developed a theory long ago: if a "celebrity" isn't uttering my name, why should I be uttering theirs? They don't care and neither should I.
As for the meteoric rise of Twitter, do we really need to know in real-time every nuance of someone's life? Isn't that the height of collective narcissism? Today's lunch become tomorrow's dump. Unless it's Chinese food, and then it may happen sooner. Tweet about THAT, Martha!
Pity about the explosion, though.

Patrick, OT, but knowing how you feel about 'designer' dog food, I thought you'd LOVE this product being pimped all over the place --

It's vitamin water. For dogs. Apparently it's a 'healthy alternative to plain tap water'.
Oh damn, that's funny. Will post on it today -- a little humor. No doubt when they fail they will ask for a bailout. The only thing worse would be that they succeed!
P.
She loses a Chow Chow to a tragic accident and still plans a "chinese lunch"?
How Martha!
