How to Use a Deben Locator

Simon Whitehead of Pakefield Ferrets has put together three videos for Deben, the makers of the Ferret Finder 3 which is, for all practical purposes, identical to the Long Range Terrier Finder when it comes to actual box opertion.

The Deben LRT is a pretty good locator, and the one I would probably be using if I were not using my "old school" Deben MKI. Nice work Simon!

Sure. See video here >> http://www.youtube.com/user/terriermandotcom for a dig to a raccoon a couple of weeks ago. The full post is on the blog about two weeks ago -- Seach "Digging on the Dogs" and something will come up.

I was out with a *real* camera crew last week, but we'll see if that turns up somewhere ::whisle::
, though some shots were seen of the dogs noodling about.

I generally dig alone, and do not mess with filming with dogs in the ground, but there have been a few tiems when things were calm, and I actually remembered that point-and-shoot has a small film clip thingie. See the youtube "channel" above -- got a dog pictured climbing a tree after it bolted one up it!
