Sunday Out With the Dogs
Another Sunday, another dig. It was about 87 degrees out when we called it quits for the day at around 1:30. There is the smallest feel of fall despite the heat.
The dogs worked a third groundhog in a barn, at the farmers request, but they could not drive it from the enormous maze of tunnels under the concrete slab. I say it was a groundhog, but at times it sounded like a raccoon and there were raccoon tracks in the dried mud where water had come into the building during some period of enormous rain.
