This is Anwar Sadat and Jimmy Carter at Camp David.
The only successful Middle East peace treaty was forged in Frederick County Maryland on September 17th of 1978.
Menachen Begin and Anwar Sadat shared the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize for the Camp David Accords, but the achievement lef to Sadat’s assassination in October of 1981 by members of an Al-Qaeda linked group calling themselves the Egyptian Islamic Jihad.
