Peregrines On the Nest

Chicks believed to have hatched about 21 days ago. This is an old Raven nest located about 60 feet over a very active train track.

Peregrines mostly feed off birds, and in these woods they nail a lot of woodpeckers; mostly Flickers and smaller, but I’m told a Pileated Woodpecker was on the menu last week.
