Veterinarians Support Using Fire

As always, feed what you want.

I am fully aware that food and diet are like religion:  generally devoid of fact and based on faith and superstition alone.

That said, be advised that major veterinary associations like the AVMA, AAHA, and WSAVA, and public health agencies like the CDC, do not endorse raw dog food diets due to the significant health risks associated with bacterial contamination that can sicken both pets and humans.

These organizations recommend feeding pets commercially prepared, complete, and nutritionally balanced foods or thoroughly cooked home-cooked diets.

Or, to make it simple, fire cures quite a lot.

You can read what they say yourself:

Again, feed what you want.  I am pretty sure you and your dog will eventually die of *something* no matter what you feed or eat.

That said, I always advise people to take a course in logic and statistics, and a course in chemistry never hurts either.

Right feed cannot fix wrong breed.

▶️ Dog longevity is less impacted by food than by dog size.

▶️ Dog health is less impacted by food than by breed.

▶️  Within breeds, dog health is less impacted by food than by COI, or the coefficient of inbreeding.

▶️ The most important action you can take in terms of dog food has to do with *quantity*.  Feeding your dogs less, and running them light, works to improve canine health and increase longevity, not only for every dog, but (amazingly) for every animal that has ever been studied.
