Motorcycle Overlanding With Airedale in 1951
Peggy Iris Thomas rode her BSA Bantam 14,000 miles around North America with her airedale Matelot in 1951, then chronicled her trip in a memoir.
An Airedale is the perfect travel companion for this type of trip! I took mine everywhere, she especially loved boating. I'll have to look for a copy of Thomas' memoir. Thanks for this post!
