Whale Alley is a 500-meter-long structure, made by the Eskimo (Yupik) people, consisting of large skeletal remains of whales, which were simply dug into the coast. Located on Yttygran Island in Chukotka, the easternmost federal part of Russia, it shares a maritime border on the Bering Strait with the U.S. state of Alaska to the east.
