I actually watched this fledgling Red-shouldered Hawk take flight for the first time. Her two other siblings could be heard, hidden among the leaves, high up. I could see this one doing the math in her head and *knew* she was going to go for it, and she did. A good strong flight for her first time.
Thrilled to have seen it.
