Why British Terrierwork Is On Its Last Legs

British hunt and terrier work has winked at abuse for too long, from the systematic killing and poisoning of raptors to the sick stupidity that too often goes on at the end of a dig.

Terrier work has been poorly represented in the UK for a very long time, and the result is that it is being banned rather than being sensibly regulated.

The lesson here is simple:  If you will not fence up and patrol your own, don’t be surprised when others step in to shoulder the job you shirked.
