We Cannot Grow On Like This

The headline is that Carbon dioxide levels are now 50% higher than during the pre-industrial era.  

Not mentioned:  it's all due to human population growth.

It took 120,000 years, to 1830, to get to the first billion people. 

The 2nd billion was 1930. 

The 3rd billion was 1960

The 4th billion 1975, the 5th billion 1987, the 6th billion 1999.

Today we are at nearly 8 billion people.

We cannot grow on like this.  That's the inconvenient truth not even Al Gore will discuss.
