I came to Dave Chappelle late, and I'm still a bit cautious (but warming up).
He's got a brain and a point, and that alone is refreshing.
Here Chappelle talks about his relationship with the Jon Stewart on the occasion of that great man being given the 2022 Mark Twain Prize at the Kennedy Center.
The entire show is terrific, but this Chappelle testimonial was where I went "wow". This was as real as it gets.

I saw it a few days ago and it impressed me too. Well spoken guy. Other comedians think he is one of very few.
