Putin bought Trump free and clear. In exchange for cash, information, and disinformation, Trump did whatever Putin suggested, from running down the European Union to insulting our troops and sewing economic chaos through insane trade wars. His promise to Putin upon re-election: withdrawing the US from NATO. Trump himself has said Putin’s goal was always Ukraine — and he was only too eager to help.
