She was killed yesterday, along with two other volunteers just outside Kyiv, while delivering supplies to a dog shelter that had been without food for 3 days
The car she was in was targeted at close range with heavy weapons.
Yalanskaya stayed behind in Kyiv to volunteer as everyone fled around her.
