1887 Guide to Dog Training

S.T. (Stephen Tillinghast) Hammond, a writer for Forest and Stream magazine, advocated in his columns and in an 1887 book entitled Practical  Dog Training, that dogs should be praised and rewarded with meat when they do something right.
