It's always a struggle to keep stream and rivers clean as they flow through farm and urban areas, but these clams on the edge of the Monocacy -- as well as the large numbers of fish predators that patrol its banks -- says a reasonable job is being done. Still, more tree tubes and riparian area protection is going on all over -- a very good thing.
