The goal was to not dig and just let Moxie bolt.
I upheld my end of that plan, but Moxie slipped a bit and killed this groundhog underground and dragged it to the exit.
Anyone who thinks killing a groundhog underground is easy is quite mistaken; they have skulls as thick as skillets, no necks, and hides once used as moccasins, shoe laces, and banjo heads. Underground, a dog is generally presented with nothing but teeth.
