An Indo-Celtic Version of "Drowsy Maggie"



Archy J is an Indian musician who taught herself to play bagpipes. Here, she performs a dubstep version of the traditional Scottish folk song "Drowsy Maggie" with violinist Madina and dhol player Sarthak Pahwa, accompanied by Celtic and Bhangra dancers.

Like potatoes from another land became part of Irish Culture. Bagpipes were in India and Pakistan then brought to Scotland and the Celts who have made their bagpipes part of their cultural heritage.
