A Weird Wolf Shot In Montana

Is this a Werewolf? A genetic freak of a regular wolf? A diseased animal? A cross with a dog? A combination of all, or some, of those things? The BBC story is here and the Montana Fish and Game press release is here.

  1. I would go with it being a wolf hybrid released by its owner or breeder to "run free in the wild." We have had problems with those in our county before.

  2. It's a wolf, with maybe a streak of dog or coyote in its heritage, that has a wonky undercoat. People amaze me with how freaking ignorant they can be. "No, Karen, it's not Bigfoot! Or a bear!" Yeesh.
