The coyote story is really a fantastic read--one to spread around. The Swiss wolf recounting is disappointing. Both put me in mind of Romeo the Juneau Wolf. Kind of hoped I wouldn't think about that tale again. I suppose the odds of a peaceful end are damn near impossible these days for anything in the wild, but especially if you have the misfortune to cross people.
