His Kick Is Worse Than His Bite
South Carolina landowner Steve Hipps has a grass pasture in his backyard that’s guarded by a donkey named Buck. That donkey does not like coyotes. (Thanks Lucas M!)
Donkeys are sometimes chosen over guard dogs protecting livestock. Disadvantage is sheep & goat farmers often use multiple pastures and while guard dogs can slip under a gate donkeys can't open them. Many pastures=multiple donkeys.
