Out for a roll today with the wee ones on my folding bike. This is on the Capital Crescent Trail, a paved bike trail parallel to, and just below, the C&O Canal in Washington, DC. This used to be a railroad track, but it was converted to a bike path thanks to the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) which created the "Rails to Trails" initiative. I used to run this section of the Towpath from Georgetown to Fletcher's boathouse when I rowed crew on the river in high school.
Information on working terriers, dogs, natural history, hunting, and the environment, with occasional political commentary as I see fit. This web log is associated with the Terrierman.com web site.
