Very young roadkill coyote in Maryland off of 270 near Little Bennett Park. Coyotes don't get hit too often -- they are very smart animals and wary. Young male fox start to get hit this time of year too, as they are driven out into new territories. This was an instant kill -- a bumper hit to the brain box by the look of it.
Even in Ruday Kipling's day, cars were the true blood sport putting up an enormous bag every night. That's even more true today.
