Bike Rack for Two Terriers?

I have been thinking about how to take the two terriers with me when bicycling, and this may be the way -- Wald 582 folding wire baskets with brown liner constructed of 600 denier vinyl backed polyester fabric.  I would put a bit of beaver board on the bottom to stiffen everything up, and the dogs would be in collar and clipped to the basket so they could not jump out.

  1. I've been thinking about the same subject. I got a rectangular wicker basket and mounted it to my bike's rack with wire ties. As I daydream about biking weather (not till late March in my climate), I'm thinking of getting a high-sided wicker laundry basket for the pooch. I'll be interested to see how the paniers work out. Please keep us posted.

  2. Just ordered it direct from manufacturer for $75 (two baskets and 2 liners with shipping). Price is better from manufacturer (WALD) than from Amazon, even with free Amazon Prime shipping.

My JRTs LOVE riding on the back of my bike! I use milk crate, so I can only take one at a time. I'll have to look in to this set-up. Enjoy!!
