They say change is an inside job, but this is ridiculous!
It seems that Jack the Jack Russell, pictured below, swallowed 111 pennies.
For the record 111 pennies is not quite a pound. A pound of pennies is 181 pennies -- and what we like to see drop when the lights finally come on inside a good working dog.

Veterinarians at BluePearl Veterinary Partners operated for two hours on the 13-year-old dog to remove all the coins.

I had a dog that used to collect change and bury it in his bed (guess he found it in the couch cushions). Though I kept an eye on him, I thought it was really cute until I learned about the zinc coating. After that we were more diligent.
Glad Jack appears to be okay.
Looks like they were able to scope it out without having to do the gastrotomy. That's awesome.
Love the "back to driving me crazy" comment at the end. Isn't that what a JRT is supposed to do to people who don't understand it?
