I Support the 1st Amendment... and the 2nd

THIS IS THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

THIS IS A POLICE STATE:

Unless there is prosecution... in which case, it's simple assault.

Police pepper spray peaceful demonstrators with linked arms.

    I just re-read your excellent article linked-to below this photograph. I would urge others to read it, too, along with the thoughtful comments that followed the article. There is danger out there in the world, and it's important to be a critical, informed thinker and respond to ACTUAL threats, as opposed to rote-thinking, reflexive stimuli. Facts clear things up nicely, even if we have to give up all we thought we knew. Thanks, Patrick.
