Western US Terrier Work

Not  as much terrier work is done out West as in the East for a variety of reasons -- far fewer people , far more poisonous snakes, far more heat, and far fewer creatures in the ground.
.
That said, terrier work IS done, and you can do well if you are in the right place in the West!  KH writes to underscore that point with a set of great pictures of his team of Fell terriers as proof.  Nice work if you can get it!

Big country demands wheels under a terrier box.

The American badger does not eat worms and bulbs!

A quick bolt, with fur standing on end as an obvious warning.

All sides agree it was a day to talk about later!

Along with badger, fox and the occassional coon, western marmot.

The badger looks huge. And those are some good looking dogs (I especially like the brown one). How does one dig in that rocky ground?
