On that note, have you seen this?

http://www.akc.org/breeds/russell_terrier/

Now, assuming the (sometimes) misnomer "terrier" as a constant, how many semantic breeds can we construct out of three words "Parson" "Jack" and "Russell" with the additional constraint that those words must appear in the same order as above if they appear?

Parson Jack Russell Terrier
Jack Russell Terrier
Parson Russell Terrier
Parson Jack Terrier
Parson Terrier
Jack Terrier
Russell Terrier

That's seven "breeds" right there. Open up the field to Jack Parsons and other unapproved word orders, and the real deluge commences. Get formal and call the Good Reverend by his Christian name of John, and you can start all over ...

There are even more possibilities when you realize no one ever called him "Jack" - when was always John Russell when he was alive. Calling him Jack is a bit like me refering to "Chuck Darwin".

Of course, push comes to shove, there are only two kinds of terriers: those found in the hole working a critter to a bolt or a stop ebd, and all the others.
