Did you like the story of Sergei Bryukhonenko, the Soviet scientist who reanimated dead dogs?
If so, you'll love his protégé, Vladimir Demikhov, who in 1954 grafted a second head onto a living dog.

I don't know about that host dog feeling "rejuvenated" as was mentioned on the other site. It looks pretty miserable to me. Overall, pretty weird stuff!
