Wasilla Barbie

Wasilla Barbie from My Chain Driven Ride Through Life in Alaska:

"This pale model comes dressed in her own Wrangler jeans two sizes too small, a NASCAR t-shirt and Tweety-Bird tattoo on her shoulder. She has a six-pack of Bud light and a Hank Williams Jr. CD set. She can spit over 5 feet and kick mullet-haired Ken's ass when she is drunk. Purchase her pickup truck separately and get a confederate flag bumper sticker absolutely free."

  1. I loved it until I got to the Confederate flag part. That is way the wrong part of the country as well as the wrong century for Alaska.

  2. Actually Monica, it's NOT the wrong century or part of the country for Alaska. I say this with sadness

As I am sure you know, Tod Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) for many years and Sarah Palin has been featured greeting them in convention video, and has attended their conferences as well. See >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwvPNXYrIyI

The AIP is part of a network of extreme right-wing secessionist groups around the country, many of whom are linked to white supremacist causes.

AIP, for example, is one of several violent race-baiting seccsesionist organizations in the U.S. that find common cause, and in 2006 they all got together at the first North American Secessionist Convention in Burlington, Vermont. Along with AIP, there were various Southern secessionist groups, including the League of the South; the Southern Caucus; the Southern National Congress; and Christian Exodus, a group which advocates the secession of South Carolina as an independent republic governed by the Ten Commandments as the foundation of law.

If you go to the AIP's web site at >>
http://www.akip.org/links.html you will find this group has hot links to like-minded allies, including the Southern Party of Tennessee; the Southern Party of North Carolina; the League of the South, the Texas Nationalist Movement, a Western Canadian secessionist movement; a Waco, Texas museum honoring the Branch Davidian members killed in a 1993 siege involving federal officers; and even a secessionist movement in Palin's running mate's state of Arizona.
