Get Rich Raising Mushrooms



Wow! What a great idea! Growing mushrooms is like making gold from manure! Just check out the price of mushrooms at the local store. This is a great way to make extra money on the side from your other animal-raising operations -- chickens and hamsters for example. What could go wrong? Nothing!

    This one is still being encouraged -- only now you are supposed use the space under your greenhouse benches to grow shitakes.

    You can also get hardwood trunks impregnated with a specific spawn to grow mushrooms for your own use -- I don't know anyone who does this personally, but the grower makes the rounds of the PA farm conferences.
