Lap dogs are old, but this fencing up based on the most narrow and arbitrary of differences is a western affectation. <br /><br />But yes, as you suggest, the Kennel Clubs are constantly bringing in dogs, wrecking them, and then bringing in the old "original" under a new name where it is wrecked all over again.
