Couldn't they just...Damn shame about wolf 832F. Couldn't they just make some footnote saying, gee, I don't know, maybe NOT to shoot the wolves with $4000 radio collars on? If it's close enough to shoot, it's close enough to see it's wearing a collar. Also, it's high time their protected status extends to the entirety of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Wild animals shouldn't be expected to respect arbitrary park boundaries, or pay with their lives. How else do we ensure "hunters" who really just want to see wolves out of Wyoming aren't sitting at the park border waiting for some unlucky Yellowstone wolf to wander along?<br />I just came home from a day trip to Yellowstone (I live in Bozeman) and was lucky enough to see my first ever wolf in the wild, something I've dreamed about since I was a kid.
