On the Internet, silence and instant bans are the best way to handle trolls.
Threads and BlueSky have shown the way: Never engage and instantly ban.
It’s dog training for humans: Never reward bad behavior and make sure consequences are quick, consistent, and predictable.
AND YES, I will bang you on the head and send you out the airlock.
