All cops have voluntarily joined a group that they know ruins lives for minor offenses, routinely lies (they teach lying at the police academy), does pretextual stops based on race, routinely kills unarmed civilians (one every 6 hours), shoots backyard dogs without cause and with impunity, and winks at racism and domestic violence within their ranks.
There are “good cops” only to the extent there are also “good Nazis,” “good Klansmen,” and “good MS-13” members.
