A study published in the journal
Nature based on Dogs Trust and other data from more than 580,000 UK dogs, across more than 150 breeds and crossbreeds, concludes that the median age of death for brachycephalic dogs is11.2 years, compared to 12.8 years for their mesocephalic counterparts.
