Springsteen and the E Street Band are always great music, but the concert was also a realization these musicians are world-class athletes. Three hours of full over-drive. Bruce, Steve, Max, Nils, Roy, Jake, and all the rest were pedal-to-the-metal. No coasting, no brakes, and no breaks.
No disrespect to all the great musicians, the world over, that have graced us over generations, but this is our AMERICAN band — the one we send out to take on all comers, forever.
